Deep tissue work can be facilitated by using our massage stick. This highly durable massage tool is best used with gliding motion to move and tweak your aches and pains. Its multi-functional design helps find the sorest of spots. 

The stick can be used as a pressure roller with both hands, or up on end like a trigger point finder if specific tissue soreness. Our suggests is to first massage stick larger areas of muscles, then go find your specific points of pain with the “up on end” handle method.

Here are the most common sites and injuries our stick is used for:

 

  1. Calf Pain
    1. With both hands, hold the stick so the rollers are applying pressure to the calf area.
    2. Roll over the area with pressure for 60 seconds
    3. Repeat this method for 5 reps
    4. Make sure to do both calves

 

  1. Shin Splints
    1. With both hands, hold the stick so the rollers are applying pressure to shin area (anterior tibialis) avoiding the tibia.
    2. Roll over the area with pressure for 60 seconds
    3. Repeat this method for 5 reps
    4. Make sure to do both shin areas.

 

  1. Quad Pain and IT Band Syndrome
    1. With both hands, hold the stick so the rollers are applying pressure to quad/thigh area.
    2. Roll over the area with pressure for 60 seconds
    3. Repeat this method for 5 reps
    4. Make sure to do both legs.

 

  1. Low Back Pain
  2. With both hands, hold the stick so the rollers are applying pressure to your low back area.
  3. Roll over the area with pressure for 60 seconds
  4. Repeat this method for 5 reps

  1. With both hands, hold the stick so the rollers are applying pressure to quad/thigh area.
  2. Roll over the area with pressure for 60 seconds
  3. Repeat this method for 5 reps
  4. Make sure to do both quads.

  2. With both hands, hold the stick so the rollers are applying pressure to side of neck area. Do not roll over the front of the neck.
  3. Roll over the area with pressure for 60 seconds
  4. Repeat this method for 5 reps
  5. Make sure to do both sides of the neck.

 

Pin Point Pain Areas with the Stick:

 

A great way to address pinpoint pain locations can be to use the Stick as a spear, so to speak. Locate and treat trigger points (tight bands of tissue located in one area) or painful spots. With the stick on end, use the force of one handle to find and apply pressure for these areas common trigger point areas:
